The Sock Club DetailsThe Yarn Love sock club is beautiful simplicity: you sign up, and we
ship you a luscious skein of sock yarn every month for 3 or 6 months (your choice). US shipping is included in the yarn of the month price, so sit back, relax,
and wait for the Yarn Love sock yarn of your dreams to arrive in the
mail. We are offering limited spots so sign up now! via our shop on Etsy.
Our first month is March 2011. We'll continue to accept new memberships until we're full, even after March.
How does it work? You’ll
receive a monthly email with a choice of two colors. Pick the one you
want, and follow the instructions to submit your “color order”. In 2-3
weeks you’ll receive another email letting you know that your sock club
shipment is on it’s way.
If we don’t receive a color order from you,
don’t worry. We’ll pick a great one and send it to you automatically.
In fact, you don’t ever have to submit a color preference to receiving a
scintillating skein of sock yarn each month.
What yarn will I get?The
base yarn will be different each month. The vast majority will be
fingering weight, but don’t be surprised if we send along a sport or dk
weight skein. (We all know there are occasions where you need to knit a
quick pair of socks!) The first three months will feature sock yarns
from the Yarn Love line up. After that, we will throw in a delectable
yarn or two that we don’t normally carry.
All the skeins will
have a majority wool content. I dye with acid dyes which don’t work on
plant based fibers, so I won’t be offering cotton or cotton blend yarns
in this club.
Are the colors new?Yes! All the colors will
be brand new. You will have the chance to tell us via the blog if you
love it and want it to become a part of our regular offerings….but by
joining the club you’ll be the first to get your hands on the latest,
scrumptious Yarn Love.
International Shipping?We can do
that. Please contact me with your location so I can make a custom listing
with the correct shipping built in. Due to postal limitations, I can’t
offer tracking or insurance on packages shipped outside the USA.
